With the free Tux sports bus you're at the lifts in about 4 minutes. The Nightliner also gets you safely through the night.

Cross-country skiing
The 14 km classic trail and 14 km skating track lead from Madseit to Vorderlanersbach. In Hintertux you’ll find a 1.5 km trail.
It’s about 70 meters from our house to cross-country skiing fun.
Winter & snowshoe hikes
Not only in summer does the Tux Valley mountain world offer numerous hiking options – in winter you can also enjoy the beautifully snowy landscape on tours. Snowshoe equipment can be rented in most sports shops.
Tobogganing in the Zillertal
Want to race down the mountain by toboggan off the slopes? No problem on 14 well-prepared toboggan runs in the Zillertal. Two of these are in the Tux Valley. All are also illuminated at night, so night sledders get their money's worth too.
