On 13.10.1905 the two farms Ober- and Unterjennewein were merged into one farm, the "Jenneweinhof". The farm was handed over on 8.11.1931 to Josef Mader (died 4.12.1945) married to Maria Mader. Their son Johann Mader took over the farm on 5.1.1973. He married Loise on 27.10.1973 and handed over to his son and current farmer Florian in 2004.
Our farm was built in 1965…
together with the Peterlerhof. The right side of the house in the photo belonged to the Hochmuth family "Peterlerhof" and the left part to the Mader family "Jenneweinhof". In 1952 we welcomed the first guests in our house. Initially there were outdoor toilets and rooms without running water. The first ski lifts were built in 1949 in Hintertux and Lanersbach. It was a chairlift on wooden supports with 16 chairs and a sled lift at the Hinteranger.
1962 ...
construction of the new house began. The old part was demolished in 1967. In 1968 the glacier was opened up with a chairlift from the Sommerbergalm to the Tuxer Ferner. With the development of the glacier, overnight stays increased significantly.

the rooms were renovated and the house was expanded by one floor.
1998 ...
the entrance area was renewed and a ski room was built in the basement. In 2004 a new free-range barn was built.

renovation of the farmhouse began. Sauna, infrared cabin, relaxation room, fresh air area, holiday apartment for 4-5 people, apartments for 2-3 people, double rooms, single rooms, family rooms and an elevator were added. All rooms were fitted with new carpets and shower/WC. The breakfast room was enlarged! It was personally important to us that the style of the farmhouse was preserved! In spring 2012 we became a member of “Holiday on the Farm” and are a 4-flower establishment. Since summer 2012 we are also a 3-star establishment!
